Deputies of the City Council approved the draft program "Provision of passenger transportation by public transport and development of the road complex in the city of Krasnoyarsk." The city's budget for the next year provides 11.8 billion rubles for these purposes.
2.7 billion rubles have been allocated for the repair of highways. The update will affect a number of large facilities, including Gorky Street (from residential building No. 1 to non–residential building No. 97), the Decembrists (from Dubrovinsky Street to Republic Street), the Paris Commune (from Dubrovinskaya Street to Constitution Street of the USSR), Trade Unions (from Bograd Street to Lenin Street), Robespierre (from non-residential buildings No. 1A on Robespierre Street to Republic Street), Lenin, Markovsky, the complex of Godenko – Totmina – Vysotnaya, Molokova streets (from Baturin to Molokova Street).
In addition, additional funds from higher-level budgets will be allocated for the repair of Mira Ave. (from Trade Unions st. to Karatanov st.), Norilsk, Republic, Karl Marx Streets (from Surikov st. to Karatanov st.).
155 courtyard driveways will be repaired.
"This year, with the support of the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, we have completely renovated the rolling stock of urban passenger municipal enterprises. In just two years, 305 gas-powered buses were purchased. The plans for next year are to overhaul two sections of tram tracks – on the ring of Predmostnaya Square and Alexander Matrosov St. to 60 let Oktyabrya St.," said Vitaly Lednev, head of the Department of Road Infrastructure and Transport.
As part of the preparation of the city for the celebration of the 400th anniversary, the renovation of infrastructure facilities is planned. These are the renovation of the Vinogradovsky Bridge and the pedestrian bridge along Kopylova St., the underpasses on Matrosova Street and near the Institute of Arts, as well as the design of the repair of the pedestrian bridge across Weinbaum St.
7.4 billion rubles will be allocated for the maintenance of the road network. On behalf of the head of Krasnoyarsk, Sergey Vereshchagin, new approaches to cleaning roads and pedestrian spaces will be applied this winter. Already this season, the use of technical salt will be reduced, especially on the sidewalk. The main highways will be treated with a solid anti-icing reagent conforming to GOST and environmental requirements. For the first time in Krasnoyarsk, marble chips will be used to clean sidewalks and other pedestrian spaces from ice. This material is completely harmless, and its performance characteristics do not require cleaning up leftovers after the onset of spring. It is also planned to increase manual labor teams to 500 people.
In addition, the program provides funds for the organization of control of public transport in the city, provision of route dispatching, etc. Subsidies are also expected for carriers that operate routes with low passenger traffic.
To ensure transport accessibility for residents of greater Krasnoyarsk, two public transport routes are planned to be put into operation in 2027. They will provide a connection to the city of the villages of Kamenny Yar, Areyskoye, Elite and the village of Minino. It is planned to organize traffic in these directions from January 1 next year.
