New eco-friendly buses have been launched on two more city routes

10 more vehicles have been added to the fleet of eco-friendly vehicles that is already operating on Krasnoyarsk roads. 9 of them carry passengers on route No. 37 "Railway Station – Grenada Wellness Complex". One bus serves the suburban route No. 18 "Technical School of Transport and Service – mkrn. Upper Cheryomushki".
Gas-powered buses are already operating on 8 city routes of KPATP No. 7 JSC. Passengers also drive such cars with license plates. №№ 10, 12, 19, 55, 56, 31. In addition, the equipment is planned to be used on routes No. 6 and No. 22.
Buses powered by natural gas were purchased for Krasnoyarsk in preparation for the 400th anniversary of the city on the initiative of the governor of the region Mikhail Kotyukov. A total of 150 such machines have been delivered to the city this year. The new vehicles are recognizable, their body is blue with the coat of arms of Krasnoyarsk and the inscription "Yenisei". All of them are manufactured for Krasnoyarsk at the Belarusian MAZ plant. The buses arrived in the city gradually, and they undergo retrofitting, branding, and maintenance procedures on site.
The main goal of updating the city's bus fleet with natural fuel technology is to improve the environmental situation and improve the quality of public transport. A specialized gas station is equipped in the city for refueling new cars.
The urban transport renewal program will continue next year. It is planned to purchase 155 more gas-powered buses for the city. Relevant contracts have already been concluded for the leasing of 55 vehicles. The same Belarusian MAZ plant will produce the next batch.
