The Krasnoyarsk school of freestyle wrestling will have its own base for training and competitions.

The installation of the new sports pavilion on Kirensky Street was supervised by the head of Krasnoyarsk, Sergey Vereshchagin, as part of the District Route tour. The event was attended by deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

The future freestyle wrestling gym is 65% ready. The walls and roof have been completed, and specialists are installing partitions. A basketball and soccer court is being set up outside. The facility will become a training base for athletes of the city Olympic Reserve school, as well as a venue for competitions. More than 100 athletes and schoolchildren will be able to train here every day for general physical fitness.

"Our school will be 40 years old next year, and we've never had a place of our own. We occupy playgrounds in schools, sports complexes, colleges, and technical schools. Here we can safely hold tournaments, both regional and city," shared Roman Anzhiganov, director of UIA SSHOR Freestyle Wrestling.

During the construction inspection, Sergey Vereshchagin instructed to work out the possibility of filling an ice rink for residents in the pavilion courtyard in winter.

​Next, the head of Krasnoyarsk inspected the repair of the inter-block passage in the area of the house at Kirensky 21a. Residents at an open meeting in the spring asked to put the road in order in the yards. The asphalt was changed on the site and three wells were restored. The services will work out the issue of the placement of the MSW site separately.

Several landscaping facilities are under special control. Public spaces in Oktyabrsky and Zheleznodorozhny districts are currently being renovated in preparation for the 400th anniversary of the city. The elements of the dog–walking area in Festivalny Square have been replaced, and the next step is the installation of a new stage, the installation of children's complexes, exercise equipment and outdoor furniture. The Silver Square is being transformed at the expense of the investor's funds. There will be a pump track, a light arch, exercise equipment, swings, and a video surveillance system. In addition, almost a thousand shrubs will be planted on the territory.

Another mandatory point of the "District route" is checking the repair of roads. The head of Krasnoyarsk drove to a section of Svobodny Avenue from Lado Ketskhoveli Street to Vysotnaya. A quarter of the work volume has been completed here. Sergey Vereshchagin instructed the customer's service to strengthen control over the execution of the schedule for this facility.

"At the same time, the exterior of residential buildings is being renovated on Svobodny Avenue. The facade of the 36th is being repaired this year, and work is planned on buildings No. 40, 42 and 44 next year. That is, we will renovate the site in the complex in order to put it in order from a visual point of view," the head of Krasnoyarsk summed up the departure. – We completed the route on Krasnomoskovskaya Street. Thanks to the initiative of the residents, we are forming a new sports core here. We'll put up 9 tennis tables and make a canopy. It is planned that residents and students of the neighboring 19th school will train. We have a program in our city to support such initiative projects.
