​​With a focus on greater Krasnoyarsk: Sergey Vereshchagin presented the results of the city's development in 2025 and outlined plans

Today, the head of Krasnoyarsk, in accordance with the City Charter, presented at the session of the City Council of Deputies a report on the activities of the administration over the past calendar year.

At the beginning of the report, Sergey Vereshchagin noted the main events of the past Year of Defender of the Fatherland, announced by the President of the Russian Federation. They are related to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory and the support of ITS participants and their families. These include awarding 34 veterans of the Great Patriotic War the titles of "Honorary Citizen of Krasnoyarsk" and the opening of the renovated Victory Memorial and Victory Square.

The implementation of a package of city measures to support fighters and their families, in which a proactive regime is important, continues, the head of Krasnoyarsk emphasized. This year, a new public project was launched for the participants of the SVO – "Creative Front. The call sign is Krasnoyarsk." Defenders at the front are helped by a strong community of home front volunteers. These are about 100 associations of various forms, with 5,000 volunteers in them.

He also focused on the issue of integration of new territories. In total, about 600 million rubles in 2026 are provided for their development. These are the repairs of 22 roads, lighting, and the inspection of buildings of social institutions. One of the major projects is the construction of water supply networks in Solontsy. According to Sergey Vereshchagin, local deficits help to identify residents at face-to-face meetings. Trips to Elita, Minino, Bugachevo, and Berezovka have already taken place. All issues are being worked out, and some solutions, for example, on public transport, have already been implemented.

A significant part of the report was devoted to preparations for the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk. Sergey Vereshchagin drew attention to the fact that development projects in various fields are somehow related to the upcoming anniversary, as this is now the flagship area.

About 50 events are planned for 2026. They include the improvement of three streets of the historical center, the pedestrian part of Kopylova St., Godenko St., Gaz Ave. "Krasnoyarsk worker". With the support of the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, 50 new road cleaning machines are expected this year. It is planned to start construction of a new bicycle pedestrian bridge from the side of the Green Grove to Tatyshev Park.

"The townspeople have their own suggestions on specific projects and events related to the 400th anniversary. The main thing for us is that Krasnoyarsk residents themselves feel their involvement in the changes of the city. The Krasnoyarsk-400 information portal will be launched soon, where a feedback platform will be created for residents," said Sergey Vereshchagin.

The plans for the upcoming road repairs include the repair of 52 facilities with a length of more than 69 km. Major highways – Aviatorov, Igarskaya, Bazayskaya, Matrosova, as well as bridge structures: Aviatorov overpass, 777 bridge, Bugacha overpass.

It is planned to upgrade 136 inter-block and courtyard driveways. In terms of landscaping, the creation and renovation of at least 20 spaces.

The head of Krasnoyarsk also shared the results of a survey of citizens on the most sought-after projects last year. The directions indicated by the Krasnoyarsk residents will become a direct reference point for the services.

"The quality of handling requests and analytics is what will determine the effectiveness of our solutions. Therefore, in order to improve this work, we are creating a municipal management center. By analogy with the Regional Management Center, which operates at the regional level," said Sergey Vereshchagin.

At the end of his speech, he listed his work priorities.:

– integration of new territories of greater Krasnoyarsk;

– preparation for the 400th anniversary;

– development of the city with a focus on dealing with residents' complaints.

"It is very significant to me that systematic work has been established on social facilities – I mean the construction and overhaul of our schools and kindergartens. An important message is to pay close attention to the aspirations of the residents. We see that the mayor regularly holds large meetings with Krasnoyarsk residents, where deputies participate, who also rely on the wishes of the citizens in their work. I hope that the constructive interaction of the administration with the deputies will continue," said Natalia Firyulina, Chairman of the City Council. "Sergey Viktorovich quite often addressed the future of Krasnoyarsk during his report, and that's right – we have a lot to do together by the 400th anniversary."

Following the consideration of the issue, the deputies voted to adopt the report of the head of Krasnoyarsk.​​
