The seventh working visit of the head of the city took place in the format of a "District route". Sergey Vereshchagin checked a number of facilities in the Central District. The event was attended by deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and Chairman of the City Council of Deputies Natalia Firyulina.
The head of Krasnoyarsk paid special attention to resolving the issues of residents that were raised at an open meeting in the district in April this year. One of the key topics is the organization of MSW collection sites in the private sector. Nine new locations have been equipped on Gagarin, Furmanov, Berezina, Polyarnaya, Krasnogradskaya and others streets. Two more platforms will be installed in the near future. Sergey Vereshchagin instructed to evaluate which places need to be equipped with "smart" cameras in order to monitor violators.
Another important issue is the organization of traffic in the neighborhood. At the request of residents, a traffic light was installed at the intersection of Linear and Abytaevskaya streets for pedestrian safety. It will be launched before the end of the week. Sergey Vereshchagin checked how the appeal of the owners of the house at 84A Lyuba Shevtsova Street is being resolved. At an open meeting, residents said that the basement was flooded by flowing rainwater from school No. 155. The head of Krasnoyarsk instructed to implement engineering solutions for precipitation removal by September 1.
Major repairs of educational facilities are under the control of the mayor. There are two of them in the Central District. The first is a branch of the Pokrovsky Complex school on Stepan Razin Street. The institution is being upgraded as part of the national project "Youth and Children" and the regional program "All the best for children." The building is 68 years old. On September 1, children, more than three hundred students, are expected to go to school.
"Currently, work has been carried out to repair the facade, we are completing the interior decoration, installation of engineering networks, it remains to install the doors and finish the cladding of the stairwell with ceramic tiles," reported Alexander Novitsky, acting head of the contractor company.
Sergey Vereshchagin set the task for the services to put the access roads to the institution and Stepan Razin Street in order. Pit repairs will be carried out here until mid-August, wells and drainage troughs will be repaired.
The second educational facility is the new branch of the Children's Art School No. 1 on Ada Lebedeva St. Since 2023, the premises with an area of just over 1,200 m2 belong to the city. Major repairs are currently underway inside. All work will be carried out under an agreement with the investor in preparation for the 400th anniversary.
"The creation of a new branch will increase the number of students by about 500 people, which is extremely important given the significant shortage of places for creative and musical activities in the city center. On September 1, 2027, the renovated school should open its doors to students," said Natalia Firyulina, Chairman of the City Council of Deputies.
Another point of the "District route" was the cultural space "Surikov Center". The facility is being built for the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk. Readiness is 52%. Specialists have started finishing the facade. The parts are manufactured at the Krasnoyarsk plant.
"Next week we will start landscaping. We plan to complete these works and facade finishing this season. In September, the building will get its final appearance," said Pavel Dolgikh, head of the general contractor's company.
Issues around the area are also being resolved: the boiler room pipe is being examined by specialists for accidents, and plans are underway to dismantle it. In addition, the formation of a link between the cultural space and the museum-estate of V.I. Surikov will begin. Now they are separated by a fence, an object of cultural heritage. It is planned that contractors will enter the territory of the museum estate in the fall to reconstruct the fence with gates, the wing and the main building.
Residents have joined the process of modernizing the historical hub of the city. The owners of the apartments at 102 Lenin Street offered to paint graffiti based on the work of the great artist in the courtyard on the wall that borders the museum-estate. The project is being developed jointly with the Institute of Arts.
The final point of the route was the control of landscaping works on the streets of the center. This is a project dedicated to the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk. The city has taken a comprehensive approach to the process: with the support of the regional budget, three streets with a total length of 3.3 km are being improved and the facades of apartment buildings are being renovated in parallel with the Capital Repair Fund.
"There are many questions about the repair of cross streets. I took a walk through the Dictatorship of the Proletariat, Kirov and Surikov. I checked the organization of work here a month ago. According to my comments, the process has been adjusted, but there are still shortcomings. Each street is repaired by a separate contractor. All the comments include sloppy work and poor organization of pedestrian accessibility. In some areas, it does not exist at all. He instructed me to restore order and increase the number of workers. I would like to note that this "Regional Route" is not the final one. In August, I will continue checking the key points of each departure in order to track the changes and the fulfillment of instructions," Sergey Vereshchagin summed up.
