Buses powered by new eco-friendly fuel for the city, which arrived in preparation for the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk, have been put on line today. They operate on routes No. 12 and No. 19. Residents of the right bank and passengers from the left bank can travel by gas-powered transport. These buses are easy to distinguish from the rest – their body is blue. This color scheme was chosen by the townspeople themselves.
The new buses were manufactured specifically for Krasnoyarsk at the Minsk Automobile Plant. Separate workshops were allocated for the assembly of transport for Krasnoyarsk.
Validators are available in the cabins for the convenience of passengers. All buses are equipped with climate control, air conditioning, and heating devices. Also, all cars are adapted to serve low-mobility citizens, and the "Talking City" system works for the visually impaired.
For safety, 8 cameras are installed in the cabin of each car, which monitor the situation both outside and inside the bus, including in the driver's cabin. Buses also have a passenger flow counting system, which allows you to fully control the load and adjust the timetable.
Notably, gas-powered buses were purchased on the initiative of the governor of the region Mikhail Kotyukov. In total, 110 more cars are expected to arrive in the city by the end of the year as part of the leasing program. All of them will go on routes as they arrive and are equipped. The crews of passenger transport company No. 7 will work on the new buses. The purpose of updating the bus fleet with natural fuel technology is to improve the environmental situation and improve the quality of public transport.
