Modernization of previously landscaped public spaces

As part of the comprehensive program of preparation for the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk, 16 public spaces in different districts of the city are planned to be modernized by 2028. The goal of the program is not only to improve the appearance of green areas, but also to create comfortable, multifunctional spaces for residents of all ages.
In 2026, 9 public spaces are planned to be improved:
– Enthusiasts Square;
–Festivalny Square (Novaya Zarya str., 2);
–the square "Sloboda Vesna" (Alekseeva St., 115);
–Odessky Square (Odesskaya str., 5-7);
–Yunga Square (60 Shevchenko St.);
–the square of "Journalists" (Metallurgov Ave., 32-34);
–the square on Ustinovich St., 1;
–park on Metallurgov Ave., 55;
–the square near the Krasnoyarsk Circus (named after him. the newspaper "Krasnoyarsk worker", 153).
In 2027, it is planned to improve 7 public spaces:
–the square on Koroleva St. – Koltsevaya St. (Panyukovka);
–the square on 2nd Botanic Street;
–the square on Komsomolsky Ave., 23;
–Lilac Park (76 Kopylova St.);
–the square on Zheleznodorozhnikov St., 10;
–Universiade Square (Sverdlovskaya St., 101-109);
–Cosmonauts Square (between Tereshkova St. and Nikolaeva St.).
The projects include:
– "doblagostravstvo" the territories of the squares according to the approved concepts;
–replacement of outdated small architectural forms (benches, urns, canopies);
–installation of outdoor lighting systems;
–restoration or replacement of surfaces (sidewalks, playgrounds, paths).
These measures are aimed at improving the comfort, safety and aesthetics of urban squares, as well as creating conditions for a variety of leisure activities — from quiet relaxation to active activities.
