Improvement of parks and squares of the city of Krasnoyarsk

In preparation for the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk, landscaping of green areas, city parks and squares in the city districts is underway. The aim of the project is to create recreational areas for quiet and active recreation, creating a comfortable, safe and multifunctional urban environment that meets the needs of residents of all ages.

Implemented projects:

– Chernyshevsky Square (Pokrovsky residential area);

– Kirovsky Square (Kirovsky district);

The work will be completed in the fall of 2025.

Projects under implementation (completion date is by the end of 2027):

–400th Anniversary Park of Krasnoyarsk (residential area "Vletka");

–park "Gvardeysky" (residential area "Green Grove");

–Central Park – comprehensive infrastructure renovation is underway;

–Silver Square (Oktyabrsky district);

–Pokrovsky Park – renovation of the park near the Chapel of Paraskeva Friday.

The main directions of landscaping

All projects include the following:

–installation of a video surveillance and notification system to increase security;

–partial replacement of hard surfaces and side stones with renovation of pedestrian areas;

–replacement of small architectural forms, including benches, urns, canopies;

–updating of children's play and sports equipment (playgrounds, exercise equipment);

–the establishment of a dog-walking area with appropriate equipment;

–landscaping;

–creation of lawns and flower beds;

–establishment of zones with reservoirs for aesthetic and ecological enrichment of the territory;

–creation of sports zones (volleyball, basketball courts, workout areas);

–the placement of stages and amphitheaters for mass events and cultural programs.
