In preparation for the 400th anniversary, Krasnoyarsk is developing a territorial and tourist brand of the city. It will be based on a comprehensive sociological study, which takes place in several formats.

One of its stages is to conduct a survey among residents of both Krasnoyarsk and Russia as a whole. There are 40 questions in the questionnaire, some of them with ready–made answers, and some of them are open so that everyone can express their opinion. So, respondents are asked about the main symbol of the city, asked to write down the advantages of life in comparison with other cities, describe the achievements of Krasnoyarsk in recent years, choose what is the face of the city and the values of its inhabitants. They also ask you to evaluate aspects of the appearance of the city and much more.

The survey results will form the basis of the brand's concept. They will help identify the identity of Krasnoyarsk, as well as the system of values and positioning. The opinion of each participant will help make the future brand of the city more accurate, meaningful and reflecting real ideas about Krasnoyarsk.

To date, over 1,000 people have participated in the survey. The preliminary findings of the study indicate that Krasnoyarsk already has bright symbols, a unique character, significant locations and real competitive advantages. Our city has a strong and recognizable image.

Residents and guests appreciate the city of Krasnoyarsk for its unique combination of a modern metropolis and accessible wildlife, powerful industrial and energy potential, as well as rich history and culture, a sense of scale, vastness and breadth of Russia.

It should be noted that in addition to the survey, information is being collected from open and closed sources, as well as expert interviews with opinion leaders in various fields of activity.

"The creation of a strong brand of the city begins with serious research work. We have brought together leading Russian experts, studied unique archival materials, and conducted dozens of expert interviews. A large-scale survey of residents and potential guests of Krasnoyarsk is currently underway. This is the foundation on which a long–term strategy for the development of the city's brand will be built," said Tatiana Mayorova, CEO of Creare LLC.

As a reminder, according to the results of the auction, the company Creare from St. Petersburg is engaged in the development of the territorial and tourist brand of Krasnoyarsk. The work is planned to be completed by the end of 2026.
