Mariinsky Women's Gymnasium for 525 students with boarding school for 150 places
in development
The Krasnoyarsk Mariinsky Women's Boarding Gymnasium was established on the basis of the Decree of the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Alexander Ivanovich Lebedev dated 03/02/1999 and entered the system of cadet educational institutions of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Since then, the first Mariinsky Gymnasium has appeared on Krasnoyarsk territory. She opened her doors to the most gifted and talented girls from all over the region.
The traditions laid down at the founding of the Mariinsky remain unshakable: annual New Year's and graduation balls, Gymnasium Day, Mariinsky Charm, and, probably, the most solemn and long–awaited holiday for fifth graders - initiation into high school students. Since the first year, the gymnasium has taken its special place in the education system of the region.
The construction of a new boarding school will solve the problem of congestion. Now the students share a building with the cadet corps on Malinovsky Street. The new separate complex will expand education for gifted girls, improve living conditions and increase the number of places. In addition, the construction of the gymnasium will preserve the historical traditions of the "noble maidens" by providing more spacious, modern and specialized classrooms for the comprehensive development of talented schoolgirls from all over the region, ensure comfortable boarding school accommodation, as well as the comprehensive development of girls in physical education and sports in various directions, ranging from standard sports (volleyball and basketball), to modern platforms for passing the obstacle course.
