In Krasnoyarsk, it is planned to organize a permanent thematic exhibition dedicated to the Abalakov brothers, legends in the world of mountaineering. They visited the highest peaks of the Soviet Union, made geographical maps, invented new types of insurance and wrote guides for climbers. In September 2024, Evgeny Abalakov celebrated the 90th anniversary of his first ascent to the highest point of the USSR, the peak of Communism.
Earlier, the exhibition opened at the Victory Memorial Museum on the eve of the 77th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
