Museum-estate of G.V. Yudin
The country estate of the merchant and bibliophile Gennady Vasilyevich Yudin, popularly known as "Yudinka", is a unique place, the only preserved merchant's cottage in Krasnoyarsk on the banks of the Yenisei . It is located in the historical district of the city, where the suburban village of Tarakanovka was located at the end of the 19th century. The museum-estate was opened in December 2014. The museum's exposition is dedicated to the legacy of Gennady Yudin, a merchant, distiller, bibliophile and book publisher. During his lifetime, he became famous for his famous library, which was considered one of the largest private book collections in pre-revolutionary Russia. The tragic events of the early 20th century were reflected in the history of the Yudinsky library: Unable to find buyers in Russia, Yudin sold it to the United States, where it became the core of the Slavic department of the Library of Congress. The names of many famous personalities are connected with the history of the estate: archaeologist Ivan Savenkov, Vladimir Lenin, who worked in the library in 1897 during his exile in Siberia, and engineer Evgeny Knorre, who supervised the construction of the railway bridge over the Yenisei in 1896-1899 and rented an outbuilding on the Yudin estate. Another exposition of the estate museum is dedicated to the exiled Decembrists who lived in Krasnoyarsk and other cities of the Yenisei province. The Children's Museum Center has hosted an exhibition of works by Anatoly Zolotukhin, a Krasnoyarsk artist of decorative, applied and theatrical art, "A Train from Childhood." Today, Yudinka is a modern public space where guided tours, exhibitions, performances, lectures and master classes are held. In summer, film screenings, concerts, and readings of plays by contemporary playwrights are organized on the territory next to the museum. GEOS Museum
The Museum of Geology of Central Siberia was founded in 1960 as a division of the Krasnoyarsk Geological Administration. Since 1999, it has been functioning as an independent institution. Today, the museum's collection includes more than 9,000 exhibits collected from all over the world: minerals, paleontological and petrographic samples. In addition, the museum houses a library of specialized literature covering the period from the 19th century to the present day. Open lectures and educational projects dedicated to geology and working with stones and precious metals are held for visitors. Krasnoyarsk V.I. Surikov Art Museum
The museum was founded in 1957. Since 2000, it has been one of the top 20 museums in Russia. The museum's collection of over 15,000 works of art is one of the most significant in the Urals. The central building of the museum is located in a manor house of the early 20th century, built in the Art Nouveau style and owned by Vera Nikolaevna and Peter Ivanovich Gadalov. The mansion is decorated with numerous semi-columns and decorative niches, and on the facade of the building you can see a mask with the image of the mistress of the manor. The house was conceived as a guest house. High-ranking officials and well-known public figures stayed there, including the Norwegian explorer and traveler Fridtjof Nansen and the future Emperor of Japan Hirohito. The museum has three exhibitions. - In the department of Russian art, you can see original works of the XVIII–XX centuries, including icons and paintings by such masters as Vasily Surikov, Ivan Aivazovsky, Ilya Repin, Mikhail Nesterov and Alexander Benois. Victory Memorial
The Victory Memorial in Krasnoyarsk is one of the main monuments of the city dedicated to the participants of the Great Patriotic War. It is located on Pokrovskaya Gora and is an important place of remembrance and celebrations. The memorial was opened in 1975 to mark the 30th anniversary of the Victory. The central element of the complex is the museum building and the square with the Eternal Flame, where the names of the inhabitants of the region who died in the war are immortalized. The special feature of the memorial is the combination of an architectural complex and a museum space: commemorative ceremonies are held here, as well as an exposition dedicated to the history of the war and the contribution of the Krasnoyarsk Territory to the Victory.

The memorial complex includes the Viktor Petrovich Astafyev National Center, opened in 2024, the writer's house museum, the museum of the story "The Last Bow" (the house of the writer's grandmother Ekaterina Petrovna Potylitsyna), an exhibition hall, as well as an outdoor recreation area with a gazebo, swings and a performance area. Viktor Petrovich always returned to his native Oatmeal with special trepidation. In 1980, he bought a hut on Shchetinkina Street, 26, opposite his grandmother's house, and gradually restored it. Mikhail Gorbachev, Boris Yeltsin, Vladimir Putin, Alexander Solzhenitsyn and others visited this house. Here Astafyev wrote his best works: "The Sad Detective" (1987), "The Sighted Staff" (1988), "Cursed and Killed" (1993-1994), "So I want to live" (1995). The last time Viktor Petrovich came to Ovsyanka was in March 2001. After Astafyev's death, his house was transferred to the Krasnoyarsk Regional Museum of Local Lore. The opening took place on the anniversary of his death, November 29, 2002. The original furnishings and personal belongings of the writer have been preserved in the house. Later, the house of the writer's grandmother, Ekaterina Petrovna Potylitsyna, was restored. Thanks to the efforts of architects, historians, eyewitness accounts and Viktor Petrovich's book "The Last Bow", the estate was recreated to the smallest detail. The museum of the story "The Last Bow" was opened on May 1, 2004, in the year of the writer's 80th birthday. On May 1, 2024, to mark the 100th anniversary of Astafyev's birth, the National Center was opened. Yudin Manor Museum in Krasnoyarsk
The exposition of the estate museum presents to visitors the legacy of its owner, Gennady Vasilyevich Yudin (1840-1912), a merchant, distiller, bibliophile and book publisher. Most of the museum's collection is devoted to the history of Yudin's family, the history of his library, travels, the Leonidovsky distillery, as well as the life of Krasnoyarsk in the 19th and early 20th centuries. Separate halls tell about the life of the Decembrists and their wives during their exile in the Yenisei province, as well as about the archaeological artifacts of Mount Athos, on which the estate is located. Gennady Yudin's lifetime fame was brought by the famous library, which was considered the largest private book collection in pre-revolutionary Russia. V.P. Astafiev Literary Museum
In the historical center of Krasnoyarsk, at 66 Lenin Street, there is a unique wooden mansion that combines elements of Art Nouveau and pseudo-Gothic style. This house, built in the last third of the 19th century, was completely renovated in 1911 by order of merchant Frida Zuckerman, who turned it into a real palace. Since 1997, after another renovation, the Literary Museum, founded on the initiative of the outstanding Krasnoyarsk writer Viktor Astafyev, has been located in this building. Today the museum bears his name. The museum features unique exhibits: documents, photographs, memorabilia, manuscripts and rare books by Siberian writers, including Viktor Astafyev, Sergei Sartakov, Ignaty Rozhdestvensky, Nikolai Ustinovich, Alexey Cherkasov and others. The core of the museum's library consists of books belonging to the famous Krasnoyarsk bibliophile and collector Ivan Kuznetsov, as well as part of the library of the merchant Gennady Yudin.
