Contracts for modernization of Krasny Yar rugby stadium signed in Krasnoyarsk

The Capital Construction Department held auctions and concluded two contracts for a total amount of 777 million 189 thousand rubles. The contractor was LLC PSK Kraspromstroy. The project will be implemented with the financial support of PJSC Polyus.

The sports facility is awaiting a comprehensive transformation. A new sports and recreation complex will be built on the territory, tennis courts will be reconstructed, and the stands and sports hall of the Krasny Yar Olympic Reserve School will be overhauled.

The stadium's modernization work will be divided into several stages. By July 2027, the contractor needs to develop design documentation for the reconstruction of a building with tennis courts, as well as for the construction of a sports and recreation complex for the rehabilitation of athletes after sports injuries and the social adaptation of participants in a special military operation. Reconstruction and construction work will be completed by December 2028.

In the future, the center should provide a hall for adaptive physical culture and functional training, a massage room, a rehabilitation center, a psychologist's office, showers, etc. Additional stands for 650 seats, a parking lot with an entrance group, and landscaping of the surrounding area.

A separate type of work will be the overhaul of the sports hall of the Krasny Yar Olympic Reserve School and the central stands – they will need to be brought to a unified appearance of the entire sports complex. The facades of the building will have to be repaired and the territory will have to be improved. The full scope of work will be determined based on the results of an inspection of the building and structure. Major repairs are scheduled to be completed by December 2027.

The reconstruction of the stadium of our legendary rugby team is one of the largest projects funded by private investment. We hope that the support from the business will allow us to implement all the plans at a qualitatively high level. Preparations for the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk are under the control of the governor of the region," said Sergey Vereshchagin, the head of Krasnoyarsk.
