Large-scale improvement of Tatyshev Park will begin in 2026.

The Krasnoyarsk City Council reviewed the draft municipal program "Development of physical culture and sports in the city of Krasnoyarsk" for 2026 and the planning period 2027-2028. Following the discussion, the deputies recommended that the city administration approve the draft program.

4.3 billion rubles are provided for its implementation in 2026.

In preparation for the 400th anniversary of the city, landscaping works will begin on Tatyshev. Thus, it is planned to equip two entrance groups in the central part at the Oktyabrsky Bridge and in the western part at the cable-stayed bridge; to improve a venue for public events and a fairground, as well as pedestrian alleys in the eastern part of the island. In addition, it is planned to build sports grounds, an indoor sports facility for Nordic walking, bike and pedestrian paths.

Systematic work on the renovation of the courtyard playgrounds will continue. So, next year it is planned to repair nine locations at the following addresses: Shevchenko St. 90, Telman St. 43, Gaz Ave. Krasnoyarsk Worker 102a and 179, Voronova St. 21, Fruitovaya St. 3, Sverdlovskaya St. 11, Krupskaya St. 18, Lvovskaya St. 35.

In addition, the municipal program provides funds for 4 sports facilities: the development of design estimates for fencing and strengthening the slopes of the Center for Martial Arts sports school "Yunost" and the sports complex "Solnechny"; completion of the construction of sports pavilions for the school of judo and freestyle wrestling, as well as equipping facilities with equipment.

"Thanks to the construction of new sports facilities and the modernization of existing ones, we are increasing the number of people who systematically engage in physical education and sports, which allows us to achieve the goals set by the President of the country. We strive to create the most comfortable conditions for our students to achieve high results in the sports arena," said Alexander Kaminsky, Head of the Main Department for Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Currently, one of the important tasks remains to support family members of participants in a special military operation. In sports facilities, participants and their families can enjoy free access to swimming pools, ice rinks, gyms, fitness classes, shaping, fencing, rhythmic gymnastics, acrobatics; practice on a rock simulator, play chess, checkers, table tennis, etc.

It should be noted that next year, in connection with the annexation of new territories to Krasnoyarsk, the Berezovskaya Sports School will join the system of sports institutions.​
