Major repairs of the Krasnoyarsk State Opera and Ballet Theater named after D.A. Hvorostovsky

The Opera and Ballet Theater and the Theater Square are the architectural dominants and spiritual centers of urban life.

The theater building was built in 1966-1978 according to the project of the USSR State Prize winner, architect

I. A. Mikhaleva. The Opera and Ballet Theater opened its doors to the public on December 20, 1978. This event was timed

on the 350th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk.

In 2028, the theater will celebrate its 50th anniversary. By this date, it is planned to carry out major repairs of the theater building: to update the equipment, mechanics, interior and utility systems. At the same time, the exterior of the building will be preserved.
