The head of Krasnoyarsk instructed to speed up the development of the pedestrian part of Kopylova Street

Sergey Vereshchagin set this task for the customer and contractor during the "District Route" work trip in the Zheleznodorozhny district. The meeting was attended by the chairman of the City Council of Deputies Natalia Firyulina.

Renovation work on one of the main guest streets is being carried out in preparation for the 400th anniversary of the city. The length of the facility is 1.5 km. At the moment, a new pedestrian pavement and bike path are being formed on the site, and lighting with wires is being installed underground. The plans include landscaping and installation of outdoor furniture. Two small squares will be renovated along the road.

The completion of the landscaping is stipulated by the contract in September. On behalf of the head of Krasnoyarsk, in order to ensure the comfort of citizens, the issue of adjusting the schedule in terms of reducing the time required for work will be worked out.

The renovation of the fountain also continues on Kopylova Street. The elements of the water structure will be put in order after serious wear and tear. The bowl, cladding and all pumping systems will be updated. The work will be completed this year.

In Bogotolsky Lane, Sergey Vereshchagin assessed the progress of the road reconstruction. The contractor is currently constructing the embankment of the section from Kopylova Street to Novosibirsk. The roadway here will expand to 3-4 lanes, sidewalks, traffic lights, lighting poles and bus stops will appear. Within the framework of the project, the possibility of returning the stairs that previously existed in the center of the alley from the Historical Street is being considered. The corresponding appeal to the head of Krasnoyarsk was received from residents.

"We have seen that a substantial amount of work has already been completed. The road is planned to be opened next year. There are some issues, but they can be resolved – we need to ensure sanitation and continue the transfer of networks. I hope all this will not prevent us from completing a significant facility on time," Natalia Firyulina said.​

One of the exit points was the square on Lomonosov Street. Its improvement is carried out under the federal program "Formation of a comfortable urban environment" of the national project "Infrastructure for Life". Last year, the space was among the winners of the vote – more than 17.6 thousand people chose it.

"In our small neighborhood, everyone knows each other, they communicate, but there was no single recreation space or meetings here. We are very glad that it will appear soon. We will have a place for walking, and for walking dogs, as well as a playground for children," said Evgenia Isaeva, chairman of the council of the house at 102 Lomonosova St.

Previously, there were emergency houses on the territory, they were resettled and demolished. The site provides for the planting of trees and shrubs, the installation of tactile tiles and side steps for people with limited mobility, the installation of lighting and video surveillance cameras.

"Separately, several points on today's route were related to resolving issues received from Krasnoyarsk residents at an open meeting in the district. We made a path to the correctional school on Technical Street. At the request of residents, lighting was increased on the boulevard along Menzhinsky St., lanterns were added there and two new poles were installed. The surrounding area has been cleaned up near house No. 108 on Bograd Street, but there are still some issues, including the location of the MSW site, and we will try to help here. I keep the rest of the issues under control," said Sergey Vereshchagin.​
