The Silver Log visitor center got its name from a stream that flows year-round in this place and forms a pond. According to local historians, springs and streams in Russia were often called Silver, while the word "silver" was synonymous with the word "health". According to legend, if you wash your face with spring water from a spring, then over the next few years a person will avoid troubles and illnesses. And if you believe the legends, then in the stream on the "Rattling Mane" the Russian service people who inhabited the banks of the Yenisei River found real silver more than once.
