Yaryginskaya embankment has been transformed for the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk

The comprehensive works that started this spring in preparation for the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk have made it possible to give one of the favorite recreation areas of the citizens an updated, modern and even more attractive look. The purpose of the work done is to make the embankment a place that will delight residents and visitors of the city at any time of the year.

This season, a large number of works have been carried out on Yaryginskaya Embankment aimed at improving infrastructure and creating a comfortable environment. The contractors have updated the cover of the large gazebo, and 13 new modern small architectural forms of play have appeared on playgrounds, including swings, play complexes and sandboxes, including a complex for children with limited mobility. 

For the convenience of vacationers, 16 additional benches and the same number of urns were installed. Special attention was paid to the walking areas: now there are swing benches with panoramic views of the Yenisei.

Significant changes also affected the stage and the amphitheater. The stage cover has been completely renovated, and a new canopy has been installed above the amphitheater. In addition, as part of the maintenance of the embankment, the paintwork was updated on a large number of objects: from children's play complexes to railings, returning them to a fresh and well-groomed appearance.

Lighting has taken a special place in the landscaping project. Specialists laid about 500 meters of electrical networks to create picturesque decorative lighting, including on several balconies overlooking the Yenisei River, and a light art object "Balls" was installed in the area of the stage. In addition, the specialists have equipped additional decorative lighting on the canopies and a large covered gazebo, creating a cozy atmosphere in the evening.

The natural landscape has also undergone changes: more than a thousand perennials and shrubs have been planted on the embankment, which will decorate the territory with bright colors in autumn.

An important stage of the work was the replacement of the ramp cover: wooden elements were replaced by modern metal ones, which solved the problem of joints, which had previously received complaints from residents. 

The finishing touch was the replacement of broken paving stones on problematic areas of Yaryginskaya embankment, as well as the renovation of wooden railings and decking. Yesterday, the swing returned to its place, fully ready to please the visitors.
