A unique art object will be installed in the Serebryany Park

The sculpture should become the main symbol of the park. Its vertical elements refer to an open quarry, and its smooth lines refer to the Yenisei and its tributaries, as the river connects the cities, people and industry of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The art object will be made taking into account the current trends of modern art, it will be decorated with architectural lighting.

The composition, which should become the main point of attraction in the park, will be produced and installed by the investor, the Russian Platinum company, at its own expense. By the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk, the company has covered all the costs of updating the Serebryany Square, one of the largest public spaces in the Oktyabrsky district.

Landscaping began at the end of July, and more than half of the planned amount of work has already been completed. Trenches and cables have been installed in the park to remove wires underground and make modern lighting on the territory. 

Now workers are laying out paths, they will be made of multi-format paving stones and flagstones, and they are also preparing the bases for rubber coverings for playgrounds and sports grounds.

Decisions on the renovation of the square were discussed with the residents of the area. In accordance with their wishes, modern outdoor furniture with gadget chargers will be installed in the public space, a pump track will be made for outdoor enthusiasts, and safe, modern playgrounds will be provided for children. Landscaping will also be carried out: lawns will be sown, more than 900 trees and shrubs will be planted, as well as flowers.

All work is proceeding according to the approved schedule. The contractor must complete them by mid-November.
