A contractor has been found for the construction of a new bicycle pedestrian bridge on Tatyshev

The Capital Construction Department has signed a contract with the Sochi company Geostroy LLC. The cost of the work will amount to 1.11 billion rubles.

The contractor will have to build a bridge with architectural pylons and a system of cables. The first stage will be preparatory work, clearing of the territory, then the construction of supports will begin — there are six of them in total, two of which will be placed in the slopes. The work will be carried out from the left bank to Tatyshev Island. 

The builders are also dismantling the existing emergency bridge, which was destroyed by a flood in the last century.

The length of the future structure is 279 m, together with the flyover approaches it will be 633 meters. The width is 6.5 m. Two pedestrian paths and a two-way bike path will be built on both sides of the bridge. The bridge will be illuminated.

"This is one of the landmark projects of the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk. The facility will connect our island with the bank of the Yenisei River in the Zelenaya Roscha microdistrict, and form a new multi-kilometer route for hiking and cycling in the city. A new bridge is always not only an infrastructure facility, but also an important element of architecture. It should also become an important element of the light appearance of Krasnoyarsk," said Sergey Vereshchagin, the mayor of the city.

It is necessary to complete the construction under the terms of the contract in December 2027.
