The International Youth Festival is taking place in Yekaterinburg from 11 to 17 September. The event brought together 10,000 young people from Russia and 191 foreign countries.
The festival is one of the largest international platforms for youth interaction. Leaders from around the world communicate, share experiences and seek answers to global challenges in order to jointly shape the image of a shared future. Among the main topics discussed at the event are science and education, entrepreneurship, creative industries, sports, media and digital technologies. 123 people went to the festival as part of the delegation of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. These are active young public figures, entrepreneurs, athletes, scientists, cultural figures, volunteers, winners of national and international projects.
The stand of the Krasnoyarsk Territory is presented at the site of the International Youth Festival. It introduces participants to the history and rich culture of the region and its capital. The main character of the stand, representing our region, was the mascot of the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk, the lion depicted on the coat of arms of the city. He not only tells the guests of the festival about Krasnoyarsk and its upcoming anniversary, but also answers any questions about the city and the region. This interactive assistant was developed at the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation specifically for the presentation of the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk at various venues. The mascot can answer questions and at the same time offer additional interesting facts on a given topic, as well as simply keep the conversation going in real time.
For reference. The World Youth Festival was first held in "Sirius" in 2024 on the initiative of the President of Russia. The participants were 20,000 young leaders from 190 countries. The next festival of this scale will be held in 2030. The event is held within the framework of the national project "Youth and Children".
