The Greenworks company made such a contribution to the preparation for the 400th anniversary of the city and the Krasnoyarsk landscaping.
Today, the city services have received from the company ten units of modern battery technology for park maintenance. An altimeter, a trimmer, rod shears, a drill bit, a snow spreader, a sink, a multifunctional lawn mower, a blower, a saw, etc. were transferred to UZS JSC. The specialists held a master class on the use of tools in the park "Gvardeysky".
"We have not used such a technique before. We have some similar tools, but they are gasoline-powered. We will test it," says Irina Zhdanova, head of the Department for Landscaping and Landscaping of the UZS.
In addition, thanks to the investor, the central alley of the park "Gvardeysky" is now decorated with eight large flower beds. More than two thousand perennial plants have been planted on them. The design was carried out by a team of landscape architects from Moscow. The area of the new landscaping is almost 39 acres. The project is based on the emphasis on the year–round attractiveness of the main alley – the alley of "Heroes of the Great Patriotic War".
"Gvardeysky Park is one of the largest parks in the city. This is a special memorial site, and the first stage of landscaping is just being completed in preparation for the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk. Landscaping work was planned only for next year. Therefore, such a gift from the company is very timely," says Andrey Shumsky, Deputy Head of the Landscaping Department of the Housing and Communal Services and Landscaping Department of the Krasnoyarsk City Administration.
This year, as part of the landscaping work in the park, the layout was completed, lighting was equipped, the paths and the main alley were updated, and the entrance group was installed. Also, due to savings under the program "Creating a comfortable urban environment" of the national project "Infrastructure for Life", children's play complexes, urns and benches will appear in public space in the fall.
"It is a great honor and pride for us to participate in the events in honor of the anniversary of Krasnoyarsk. Our company has been supporting landscaping projects in parks and squares in Russia for several years. Thus, we are popularizing battery-powered tools and equipment. We believe that a city with such strong historical roots and unique Siberian energy deserves modern, environmentally friendly solutions," says Evgeny Shlensky, regional coach at Greenworks.
