More than 2,000 pots of flowers were presented to Krasnoyarsk

2,364 pots with seedlings of perennial plants arrived in the city the day before. Such a gift to Krasnoyarsk was made by a company that manufactures machinery and tools for the care of gardens and parks. The investors offered to equip several green corners in the city at their own expense and provide care for the plants using their own equipment and tools. The site will be looked after at different times of the year.

It was decided to equip modern flower beds with year-round care in the park "Gvardeysky", where the first stage of transformation is just being completed in preparation for the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk. There are several large flower beds in this public space. With the help of the donated seedlings, they will be given a completely new, modern look. Work will begin next week. 

All the imported plants are of high quality, grown in a famous Siberian nursery. These are flowering grasses, shrubs with different types of greenery and flowers. For example, decorative yarrow, several varieties of sage, special chamomile, sedum, echinacea, astilba, turf, spiraea, etc. Such plants are used in the most trending types of landscaping and flower beds today.

The project of transformation of public space is designed for two stages. The first one, preparatory, will be completed this fall. The park has been renovated, new lighting has been installed, paths and the main alley have been updated, and an entrance group is being installed. Also, due to savings under the program "Creating a comfortable urban environment" of the national project "Infrastructure for Life", children's play complexes, urns and benches will appear in the park in the fall.
