​Demolition of structures has begun on the Bridgehead Square.

The Capital Construction Department has signed a separate contract for the dismantling of six capital buildings on the avenue named after the newspaper "Krasnoyarsk Worker". The contractor has already begun to install fencing to ensure the safety of citizens, after which it will begin the demolition itself. 

In addition, the contract provides for the removal of metal structures and debris, as well as the restoration of the territory. The site must be cleaned by October 15. 

These works are necessary for the reconstruction of a part of the avenue from the monument "Siberian Convict Way" to the roundabout of the square. The Capital Construction Department is currently preparing documentation for project adjustments, after which tenders will be announced to find a contractor for the reconstruction of the site. 

It should be recalled that by the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk, part of the avenue is planned to be expanded to three standard traffic lanes and a pedestrian zone with landscaping will be improved. This will be one of the stages in the development of the Bridgehead Square.
