On Kopylova St., active work is underway to modernize lighting

The contractor is currently working on the site from the lane. Bogotolsky to Lado Ketskhoveli street. The cable line is being laid underground and the trench is being backfilled. After completion of work on this site, electricians will move to the site from Lado Ketskhoveli Street to Korneev Street. The contractor plans to complete the excavation work by the end of July.
At the same time , on the section from the lane. Bogotolsky to Kirensky St., 18 workers are putting pedestrian sidewalks in order. There are 2 types of pavement provided – asphalt for a bike path and paving. On the opposite side from Kopylova St., 17 to Pushkin St., such works have already been completed. There, the contractor replaced the curbs, installed a new foundation for the pedestrian paths and paved them.
"The contractor is working on schedule, without delays. From time to time, there are comments about accessibility, but everything is promptly corrected. According to the terms of the municipal contract, the repair must be completed by September 15th. However, the head of Krasnoyarsk, Sergey Vereshchagin, set the task to finish the repair of pedestrian zones earlier – by the start of the school year," said Roman Zuzenkov, head of the technical supervision department for major repairs and repairs of the road network.
The renovation of the pedestrian part of Kopylova Street is being carried out in preparation for the anniversary of Krasnoyarsk. The main goal is to bring the street in line with modern requirements and standards of landscaping, so that it becomes convenient for pedestrians, including people with limited mobility. First of all, the contractor will have to arrange uniform and continuous pedestrian paths. For this purpose, the missing sections of sidewalks are also equipped. All outdoor furniture and other landscaping elements will be made in the same style.
It should be recalled that by the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk, a comprehensive transformation is planned on the city's major thoroughfares, including the so-called guest routes. This season, such work is being carried out on the avenue named after the newspaper "Krasnoyarsk Worker" in the area of the Bridge Square and on the transverse streets of the historical center.
