An all-terrain bike bridge will connect Tatyshev Island with the Green Grove neighborhood. The structure will be erected within the boundaries of Yakutskaya Street, to the right of the old bridge, which was destroyed by flooding in 1988. The emergency structure itself is being dismantled. The length of the new structure will be 279 m, width – 6.5 m.
The bridge will have four architectural pylons and a system of cables. Pedestrian lanes will be built on both sides of the bridge, as well as a bike lane in two directions, traffic signs and lighting will be installed. In addition, the structure will be decorated with architectural lighting. Approaches to the bridge are organized using an embankment on both sides with the possibility of passage and passage under it.
"The next stage is the search for a contractor for construction. We plan to start work this year. The bridge will connect the island with the Green Grove, and Krasnoyarsk residents will have a unique multi–kilometer space for walking along the left bank – almost to the Nikolaevsky Bridge itself," said Sergey Vereshchagin, the head of Krasnoyarsk.
It is planned to build the facility for the anniversary of Krasnoyarsk. The project will become part of the concept of tourist development of Tatyshev Island for the 400th anniversary of the city. Landscaping and bicycle and pedestrian paths will be extended on the territory of the island itself for comfortable communication with the future bridge.
