The preparations for the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk were discussed at the Federal Organizing Committee

The meeting was held in Moscow under the leadership of Alexander Novak, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation. The meeting was attended by the Governor of the region Mikhail Kotyukov, the mayor Vladislav Loginov, representatives of federal and regional authorities, business, and the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.

To date, the plan of the main events, the regional program of preparation for the anniversary of the city and its further development until 2036 have been approved. The events include a large-scale renovation of the social infrastructure and comprehensive landscaping of Krasnoyarsk.

"The upcoming anniversary is a significant event not only for the region, but also for the country as a whole. By decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, this event was given the status of a federal event. As the President notes, today Krasnoyarsk is the geographical center of Russia. The capital of the Krasnoyarsk Territory is one of the leading transport and logistics centers. It is a city with a rich history and traditions, growing industrial potential, and an economic, cultural, and sporting leader in the region. Krasnoyarsk is a training center for secondary, higher education and scientific personnel," said Alexander Novak, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation.

As Chairman of the Government of the region Sergey Vereshchagin said at the meeting, most of the events included in the document are based on proposals from Krasnoyarsk residents, and work is already underway in many areas. For example, the reconstruction of the Victory Memorial has been completed, three schools are currently under construction, the streets of the central part of the city are being landscaped, architectural and artistic lighting of buildings and structures is being installed, concepts for updating city squares, embankments, parks and sports facilities have been developed, metro tram lines are being built, and a gasification roadmap has been signed jointly with Gazprom. the region. There are plans to restore more than 50 cultural heritage sites. 

The program of the anniversary events included cultural, business and educational events at the international and national levels. Large companies have also announced their participation in the implementation of projects to renovate the regional capital, which are ready to join in the repair and reconstruction of social infrastructure facilities, the construction of hotel complexes, sports centers, parks and squares, and the improvement of public spaces. Now the agreements are being consolidated in agreements on interaction and cooperation. Small and medium-sized businesses are also taking the initiative to contribute.

"Today we checked the hours, determined the list of facilities that should be included in federal and regional programs as soon as possible. The enterprises talked about their plans and presented proposals for the development of Krasnoyarsk. We consider it an important task, on the eve of the formation of the budget for 2026-2028, to identify the sources of financial support for the events that are included in the program of preparation for the anniversary. Krasnoyarsk should be a comfortable, beautiful, modern city. A city you want to live in," said Mikhail Kotyukov, the governor of the region.

The Deputy Prime Minister instructed to complete all the tasks on time to prepare for the anniversary date, pay special attention to the reconstruction of cultural heritage sites, buildings of the city circus, hippodrome, as well as the construction of new schools. To do this, it is necessary to ensure the well-coordinated interaction of all members of the organizing committee, to coordinate the efforts of federal and regional authorities and businesses.

The next meeting of the organizing committee will be held in Krasnoyarsk.​
