Deputies of the City Council have agreed on a draft municipal program "Improving the effectiveness of urban self-government in shaping a modern urban environment."
The document provides funds to support citizens' initiatives, improve public spaces, repair driveways, contests and prepare for the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk. The total amount is 1.9 billion rubles for three years. It is planned to allocate 917 million rubles in 2026.
In preparation for the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk, two more streets of the historical center are planned to be improved next year. The streets of the Dictatorship of the Proletariat and Kirov should become more convenient for walking. They are planned to be landscaped in the same style as Dzerzhinsky, Karatanov, January 9, and Red Army streets, which are currently being completed.
A bike path is planned to be built along the street of the Dictatorship of the Proletariat. It should close the so-called central cycling ring, which was created in stages. It will be possible to ride a bicycle or scooter from the Railway Bridge along the Central Embankment to Tatyshev Island and back along the Kachi embankment without disturbing pedestrians.
Also, in preparation for the 400th anniversary, funds are planned to continue the formation of a unified light appearance of the city.
One of the most sought–after areas of work by the townspeople is the repair of inter-block driveways and access roads to houses. In every district of the city, the driveways are being systematically put in order. In 2026, funds are planned for another 61 facilities. As a rule, this number increases by the end of the year due to savings on auctions. The priority is driveways, which receive citizens' requests, including through social networks.
The improvement of public spaces under the program "Creating a comfortable urban environment" of the national project "Infrastructure for Life", which residents voted for, will continue next year. The money is provided for the transformation of seven public territories in Krasnoyarsk and the large Zlobinsky park, which is located on the territory of Berezovka village (Matrosova str., 21a) attached to the city. Concepts have already been developed for future landscaping.
Part of the funds will be used to provide grants and subsidies in the framework of city competitions: "The most well-maintained area of the city", "The best landscaping concept", as well as a competition for initiative projects.
In addition, urban youth will be able to receive grants next year. 2 million rubles will be allocated to support the Iskra social project competition.
