In 2026, two new roads will be built in Krasnoyarsk and three existing ones will be reconstructed.

This became known during the presentation of the draft municipal program "Providing citizens of the city of Krasnoyarsk with residential premises and facilities of engineering, transport and communal infrastructure" at the commission of the Krasnoyarsk City Council of Deputies on urban planning and road transport infrastructure.

​The amount of financing for the next three years will amount to almost 15 billion rubles. However, this amount may increase, as work continues to attract additional funds from higher-level budgets.

So, next year it is planned to start construction and installation works in Bogotolsky Lane and reconstruction of Molokova Street – from Shakhterov Street to Baturin Street. It is also planned to start preparing a site for the construction of a new road in the Michurinsky microdistrict, which will run from Volzhskaya Street along a residential building at 5 Aprelskaya Street with access to Kutuzova Street. The facility should provide transport accessibility to the school under construction and become the second exit from the neighborhood. But before the start of construction work, it will be necessary to withdraw the land plots into municipal ownership.

In 2026, construction work will begin on Molodezhny Prospekt from the 31st house to Preobrazhenskaya Street. Currently, two land plots are being seized for the implementation of the project. The new road will provide a "connection" with the highway under construction from Aviatorov St. to Solnechny. It was included in the list of facilities being built to mark the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk.

"We consider the anniversary as an opportunity to develop the city's infrastructure. The fulfillment of this task should become the main legacy of the Krasnoyarsk-400 project. New facilities are already being built with federal co-financing and with the support of the governor of the region, including those that Krasnoyarsk residents are particularly looking forward to. For example, a new road to Solnechny, which will significantly relieve the Yenisei Highway," said Roman Odintsovo, acting mayor of the city. – The Surikov Center is being built. By the end of the year, it is planned to complete the design of a new bicycle pedestrian bridge in Tatyshev Park. Next year, we will begin the construction of an above-ground pedestrian crossing over the railway tracks to the new school on 8 Marta Street."

The plans also include the reconstruction of the avenue named after the newspaper "Krasnoyarsk Worker" from the memorial complex "Siberian Convict Way" to the roundabout on Predmostnaya Square. The expansion of the road network is necessary for the development of the Bridge area of the right bank. The length of the site will be 655 meters.

In addition, the Urban Planning Department will continue to work on a number of facilities. So, next year it is planned:
– completion of work on strengthening the slope in the area of residential buildings on Dachnaya St., 37 – 2nd Ogorodnaya St., 25;
– completion of coastal protection works in the northern part of the island. Tatyshev;
– construction of two roads in the area of school No. 159 in the Bugach microdistrict.

Another important aspect of the Urban planning department's activities under the municipal program is the resettlement of citizens from dilapidated and dilapidated housing. In 2025, a subsidy from the regional budget in the amount of 1 billion rubles was provided for these purposes within the framework of the regional targeted program "Resettlement of citizens from emergency housing stock", funds from the city budget will also be allocated. In three years, it is planned to resettle more than 1.5 thousand people from the emergency fund.
