Facades of 60 houses in Krasnoyarsk begin to prepare for major repairs

The work will be carried out as part of the preparation of Krasnoyarsk for the 400th anniversary. In addition to repairing 60 facades, the contractor will have to repair some roofs of houses. Roofs were included in the list of works where their condition directly affects the condition of the facade of the house.

Contractors are expected to enter the facilities in early March. The management company and the HOA must temporarily free the facades and roofs of houses from signage, advertising, cables and air conditioners.  Also, management organizations will have to provide access to attics, organize places for the placement of scaffolding, materials, equipment, and work with apartment owners on the issue of access to balcony slabs, which are considered part of facades. They have already received relevant notifications from the regional capital repair fund and district administrations.

The capital repairs will be organized by the regional capital repair fund as part of the implementation of a long-term capital repair program.

The work plan includes houses located in the historical part of the city, as well as along major thoroughfares along which the so-called guest routes run. The addresses of the houses were determined by a special commission.

It should be recalled that in total, 180 houses are planned to be put in order in preparation for the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk. Most of them will be repaired as part of the planned overhaul works organized by the regional fund. In homes where the regional fund cannot carry out such work for one reason or another, owners and managing organizations are invited to participate in a competition to receive subsidies from the city budget. The first management organizations have already submitted such applications. All work on the 400th anniversary preparation plan should be completed in 2028.
