A contractor has been identified to develop a project to improve the 400th Anniversary of Krasnoyarsk Park.

Krasgorpark has signed a contract with FOSTER Design Workshop. For 5.5 million rubles, the contractor must develop design estimates for the improvement of the 400th Anniversary Park by July 30, 2025 and receive a positive expert opinion on it.

One of the large public spaces, whose name is associated with the upcoming anniversary, will be renovated for the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk. Krasgorpark has signed a contract with FOSTER Design Workshop.

The development of design solutions should be carried out taking into account the existing planning features of the park territory, the development of transport and engineering infrastructures and the need to create a barrier-free environment for low-mobility groups of the population.

"The contractor will have to provide for such types of work as the repair of the central alley and the road network, the replacement of outdoor furniture that is out of order or outdated. Also at the urban forum, people asked to install canopies and gazebos in the park to shelter from the rain and sun - all these wishes will have to be taken into account by the contractor when developing the project," said Vladimir Martyushov, Deputy director of Krasgorpark.

According to the project, an event area, sports areas, small architectural forms for children should appear in the park, as well as the pond should be modernized.

It should be noted that the projects for the development of iconic public spaces dedicated to the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk are being implemented with the support of the Governor of the region Mikhail Kotyukov.
