Facades of houses will be renewed for the 400th anniversary in Krasnoyarsk

The work is planned to be carried out on houses located in the historical part of the city, as well as along major thoroughfares along which the so-called guest routes run. Such streets were surveyed by a special commission. She identified the houses where the facades need to be put in order. There are about 180 buildings on the list.

The renovation of the facades of the buildings is planned to be carried out as part of the preparation of Krasnoyarsk for the 400th anniversary. By the anniversary of the city, the city highways on both the left and right banks should acquire a new look.

Since the facade of a house is a communal property, all decisions about repairs are made by the owners of the premises in the houses at general meetings. Most of the facades are planned to be repaired as part of the planned major repairs. They will be organized by the regional capital repair fund. In order to complete the work on time, decisions were made together with management organizations and owners on making changes to short-term overhaul plans.

Where the work cannot be organized as part of the overhaul, the owners will be asked to repair the facades with subsidies from the city budget. The decision to allocate such funds was made the day before at the session of the Krasnoyarsk City Council of Deputies approving the autumn budget adjustments. Thus, 304 million rubles will be allocated for facade repairs in 2026.

To receive a subsidy, management companies will be invited to apply and participate in a competitive selection process. The Management Company will also organize the renovation of the facades. At the same time, the decision to repair the facade at the general meeting will have to be made by the owners or the council of the apartment building.

All facades will be repaired in accordance with the architectural and artistic regulations adopted in Krasnoyarsk. Technical solutions will be offered by design organizations. The color solutions for each facade will be coordinated with the City Department of Architecture.
